Our Virtual Recital is Coming Up! All students are encouraged to participate in our bi-annual recitals. Participating in shows and recitals is the perfect opportunity to showcase musical progress and take your musicianship to the next level! This is a great time for students to also showcase what they have been learning in private lessons to all their friends and family.
Where:Online Via Zoom (MEETING ID# TO BE ANNOUNCED) When: Saturday, December 19th, 2020
Sign ups and pre-recorded videos are due Saturday, December 5th. Schedule to follow!
There are two ways that students can participate in the recital -
METHOD ONE: RECORD A VIDEO! This is the preferred method. Especially for singers, students who require background music, drummers due to sound quality issues and students with poor internet quality. These are steps the students should follow:
Step 1: Sign up for the Virtual Online Recital by texting or calling us at 508-567-5555 or online by clicking the link below!
Step 2: Record your performance at home using any device, or for in person students, we can record your video at the school during your lesson
Step 3: Email us your video using WeTransfer.comsending to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. We transfer is VERY easy to use, and you do not need to create an account. Just upload your video right from your phone, put in your email and our email and send!
Deadline to send in your videos is Saturday, December 5th and failure to do so will result in your student not being able to participate.
Step 4: FRAA will create a video for each teacher using the videos that you send us. You then will be assigned a specific time on Saturday December 19th in which all your students will sign in and watch the video performances together and/or where those who choose to perform live will play via Zoom.
METHOD TWO: LIVE ON ZOOM. Students still have the option to perform LIVE if they would like. This is easier done by students who don’t require background music. Whether you choose to perform live or send a video, each teacher will still host a showcase completely via Zoom starting at 9:00 AM on Sat, December 19th. Each teacher will be assigned a time slot on that day in which all of their students will be featured. YOU CAN DO THIS RIGHT FROM HOME :)

Fall River Arts Academy is the only private music school in the Fall River area that give their students the opportunity to earn awesome colored wristbands, certificates and personalized trophies for doing well in their lessons!
BUT they have to earn it! To earn an award our students get tested every 3-6 months by their instructors in their lessons. This encourages practicing at home, which parents LOVE.
Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends.
